United States Patriot Act
When our country was attacked on September 11, 2001 our lives were forever changed. In an effort to protect you and our country, the USA PATRIOT Act was signed into law.

To help our government prevent the funding of terrorism, money laundering activities and various forms of fraud such as identity theft, the Patriot Act requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens a new account or requests a loan.

What does this mean to you?

* When you open an account, we will ask you for your name, address, date of birth, taxpayer identification number and other information that will allow us to identify you.
* We may also ask to see you driver's license or other identifying documents.

In some cases, identifications may be requested from existing customers of Farmers State Bank if the original documentation was not obtained when the account was opened. Protection of our customer's identity and confidentiality is our bank's pledge to you.

We proudly support all efforts to protect and maintain the security of our customers and our country. We appreciate your cooperation in our compliance with the Federal law. If you have any questions regarding the USA PATRIOT Act please contact us.
